At my club we've got an electronic scoreboard. I have been known to flash the score up on it momentarily, so the lads on the field can keep up.
Working, but getting distracted by listening to the game, followed by either celebrating or keeping out of everybody else's way just in case I get told it's only a game.
Im up in barnsley for the weekend with my better half, sons got his wedding suit fitting at 1 then out for food go BDGH see my dad then hopefully loads of beer for a reds winbut in reality we doomed time to go league 1 rebuild n go for it next season. Big clear out needed cant go thru another last day drama im afraid
Be watching Jeff stelling on Sky in his last appearance. He doesn't know it yet but thereev is taking over his role shortly!!! Then on Sunday, celebrating a Liverpool win along with Mr M Kempes no doubt. Hth
I may know you, our club is Stainborough, got a couple of mates who play at Higham, all the best for the season.
Going to get measured for my wedding suit, my middle daughter gets married in august. So its shiny waistcoat and impossible to tie tie day !
The last time we were relegated my wife told me that ! "It`s only a game " hence she is now my ex-wife, the bitch !!
Hmmm.... my other half has just told me she's booking tickets for the San Siro, Milan v Napoli. So getting away from football may be tricky!
Cheers mate, never played up at Stainborough actually. I tend to be in 2nd team but don't play as much as I like cos of uni and working away. Good luck to Stainborough mate
Finishing planting taties. Tending to other stuff. Basically allotmenting. Only time I get for me. And it's a good way to get away from everything
Chores all morning, which is why I'm not going, but hopefully done for the afternoon, so I'll listen to the match on Player or Radio Sheffield. I'll not be too nervous because I've sort of resigned myself to the inevitable, but should we take the lead or still be drawing with minutes left I'll be going mental.
