Just me whats seen this then? If you can't be fuc.ked going when things are bad, don't bother when things MAY look brighter
I could sit there week after week and watch them lose. I don't give a **** in the end. They're my team for life. But the booing of Wiseman every time he touched the ball, well, that made me want to **** off home and never come back. It's embarrassing to say the least and completely counter-productive. Shameful. Cue the predictable responses of "well, **** off home and never come back then." Exactly the kind of cnuts who make the atmosphere at Oakwell feel like it's on a knife-edge every week. Booing the team or your own players will NEVER have a positive effect.
I totally agree. I don't have a problem with the team being booed as a whole but to single out a player and boo him is beyond the pale and completely unacceptable IMO.
I happen to think the boos were not aimed at Wiseman, but at Hill. From what I have heard from a few, they just wanted Hill to know how they felt about his treatment of some players. It was the only way to make their point be heard. Now I dont agree with booing players, but I can understand their feelings. I have no problem with fans booing at halftime or fulltime, none what so ever, it shows how you feel about the performance given.
They boo'ed every time Wiseman got the ball and stopped when he passed it - it was definitely aimed at Wiseman. The best way of making a point that I've heard so far was the huge cheer when Perkins got MOTM after being substituted. Booing individual players when they touch the ball benefits nobody.
on the back of the last 12 months hill had done well to get this far without any boos.I didnt boo yesterday but i did plenty of shouting, most of us knew what we were in for as soon as we saw the starting line up,I still cant believe some are sad to see him go,i just hope he takes wiseman and mcnulty with him.
Nothing wrong with booing at half or full time, it's the only way to convey feelings about performances. I do it and so do many other fans but like I said singling out one player is not only out of order it's downright mean and spiteful IMO. When it gets to the point that a player is being booed I think it says a lot about the manager too and his failure to manage his players properly and effectively. Still not an excuse to boo though.
Don't think the goals were purely down to 1 player. First goal Foster was also caught for pace, as well as players backing off. 2nd goal there were 3 or 4 players who all backed off and allowed the run into the box.
You do know that eventually you will be correct and Hassell will longer be good enough to play, but that time is still a way off and I am not the lone voice in this, unlike yourself over the last 5 years! Also I have not got a clue who J is
Name me a position, other than keeper that every manager in the last five years HASNT chosen to strengthen.
And ALL have had to turn back to Hassell, because they cannot improve on him. Like I said eventually you will be correct, if you keep on long enough eventually he will come to the end of his career, he is not there yet though!!
Assuming that "J" is John Stones, I have no problem with John Stones being picked over Bobby at RB if that is what the manager thinks is best. It's thinking that Wiseman is a better option that is incomprehensible, or thinking that McNulty is a better option at CB.
