Would prefer they all go to u21 championship.
We can't have what happened at the last u21 championship.
The FA need to make it quite clear that all u21 players are available for that Tournament.
They don't get picked for the qualifiers. We've got enough over 23 players that could play in that one or two matches in the summer or friendly.
This needs to be drilled into the players, players agent, England manager and club managers.

The way it was treated in 2013 was embarrassing. We went from a team that could have won it with all our players to a patch squad that couldn't beat Norway.

That meant u20 players moved up to u21 squad. u19 players move upto u20's and players that weren't good enough for u19's got picked.
The u21's have been sh*t on to many times.

I'd rather our talented kids played for the PROPER national side, Phil.

Winning the U21 tournaments means **** all.

    Totally disagree.

Would be great experience to go through a tournament experience.
    Totally different to anything else.
The senior national team have one game so far in Slovenia.

I'm bound to miss someone rather obvious but:

    Hart, Forster, Ruddy

Baines, Cole, Walker, Johnson, Dawson, Cahill, Lescott, Jagielka

Gerrard, Lampard, Wilshere, Barry, Barkley, Lennon, Townsend, Oxlade Chamberlin, Sterling

    Rooney, Sturrige, Walcott, Welbeck

You'll be getting us kicked out sneaking an extra player on the plane to Brazil

It was early, not sure which one of the midfielders id drop though. Like the blend of youth and experience. Maybe Townsend.

Ye I'm not convinced by Townsend, he's basically done well against 2 average European sides in Poland & Montenegro & looked decent in the Europa league against poor opposition. He's not done anything of note in the premiership. He's well behind Sterling, Ox, Lallana & his team mate Lennon in the battle for a wide spot for me.

Very surprised how many people pick ridged 2 players for every position. For me especially in defence we're better choosing players who can cover multiple positions. Eg pick a first choice back four then pick someone lick lescott who can be cover for LCB and LB and jones/Smalling who can cover RCB and RB meaning you only need to pick 6 defenders total and can have more attacking options. Especially as players like carrick Barry and Milner are all also competent at covering across the back 4

    My 23
    Hart Forster Butland
Walker Cahill Jags Baines Jones Lescott
Lallana Carrick Barkley Gerrard Wilshire Lampard Milner Barry Sterling Oxlade-chamberline
    Rooney Sturridge Welbeck Carroll

You do realise that the majority of the current German squad mullered England in the u21s then were straight into the seniors to muller them again.

Too much emphasise is put on kids playing kids not the Misters which is why we get no where.

If your in South America and your talented then your In the squad...

They played a weakend team in the final but the Germans and Spanish have gained from playing in it.

The FA need to be strong.
