    My favourite

unfortunately not available to view as the match wasn't televised was Glavin at bellend Rd 1983ish. He picked up a loose ball in our box after a weeds corner, beat a few players to emerge from the box and run at their goal, he played a 1-2 with David Johnson (Liverpool & England international on loan) on the half-way line and went on to slot the ball past the advancing keeper.

    Re: My favourite

Aylott vs city, fell off the box my dad had made me but was held up by number of people.
Barnard vs Huddersfield just for sheer quality
Currie away at Leicester int cup for atmosphere.
Agnew free kick but can't recall who it was against, went like an arrow

Either Fletchers v Millwall at Wembley, Nardiello's at Huddersfield in the play offs or Winnalls second v Walsall.

If we're going for best goal, Kay v Wednesdays around 2003? time

    Can't choose between:

    - Hammill v Millwall at Wembley
    - Clint v Bradford (occasion)
    - Sam's second v Walsall
    - Barnard v Hudds (quality of strike)

Two minutes and twenty four seconds in....

One of the most technically special goals you'll ever see. Added bonus for me the scorer of it, and added bonus for all of us that it was Lee Johnson's soul that he took with that skill...

Howard's overhead kick against Cardiff was better than all of them in my opinion.

I think the Barnard goal's the best I've ever seen. But in terms of what a goal meant etc, then it's hard to look past Marcelle's clincher, Higgy's at Wembley, Rankin's against Brentford, Odejayi's goal, Winnall's second vs Walsall and of course, Hammill's pair at Wembley.

I do though think that the Howard goal wins it for me. Last seconds at Anfield, just been denied a blatant penalty, and bang... you can't write **** like that.

    What about Hammill's here?

In fact, all three were special.

Howard at Anfield for me too. That video is spine-tingling.

The buildup into injury time and the shouts of glee as Steele saves another Liverpool effort, we were delighted to be getting a draw ffs!

Then the howls of derision as Howard is blatantly fouled in the box with Martin Atkinson bottling the call. They've barely subsided when Howard strolls toward the box, there's a split-second of silence (which makes the video for me) and then pandemonium.

I've loved so many goals since but I don't think there'll ever be one that tops that as long as I live.

Archdeacon Vs Leicester in FA cup.

There are last minute equalisers to take cup ties into extra time... and there are last minute equalisers to take cup ties into extra time.

Hammill is so predictable, pick the ball up near the half way line, run at the defence cut inside and score a goal that would grace any stadium in the world with his right foot. As the man nothing else in his locker than scoring top notch goals! I ask you why do we pay our money? does he think we go to be entertained!
