Dorm's. ******* puffs, early 60's, corrugated nissan huts fresh from ww2 camp, cold water showers in a seperate tin hut, had to skim the outdoor pool of all manner of crud before taking a dip. The PE teacher used to wake us every morning by running a pick axe handle down the side of the corrugated hut, frightened the **** out of us the first day, we thought it was Peg Leg dragging his peg leg down the hut. Ahhh the good old days.
Peg legs coffin. Went during the 86 World Cup, our teachers wouldn't let us stay up to watch England v Poland, the rotton b@stards.
We went in May 1987. I know this because I remember Scotland v England on the telly and that annoying Star Trekkin in the charts. I think Scout Dyke is my favourite school days memory. That said I can barely remember much beyond the amazing packed lunches and getting into fights with the Kirk Balk lot. Oh, and 'surfing' on top of those dividers between the beds.
