End Times Theology

This is quite interesting, apparently a large number of aides and advsors to the Whitehouse actually believe in End Times Theology- Whch basicaly says that the Messiah will reurn to Israel, but only after certain things happen. One of these is the return of the exiles to Israel and the great war (armegedon). This means that many people advising Bush will want to keep the state of Israel at whatever the cost.

erm....

i do a lot of reading on 20th century conflict but as far as a really good one is concerned that is readable i'd struggle to recommend one to be honest as a lot are very biased.

i really good book is Armageddon by Max Hastings

imagine all of the stuff we've ever been fed about the conquest of germany in WWII being total B*ll*cks. not dead easy to read but very useful and has in no way a pro-allies stance

Agreed. Was hoping someone might bring up the fact that Israel have been practising state terror for years. Using helicopter gunships to disperse peaceful protests etc. etc.
