Yeah, and if you're stupid like me and book a dirt cheap early morning flight, and THEN realise you need to be there before any public transport starts running, you find the taxi fare to the airport costs about 50 times more than the bloody flight!! lol

it's ok, Glasgow taxi's fleece us all!

From mine to Glasgow International in a tax can cost between £20 - 40 one way.

Nevermind a taxi home from a night out is £35!

 

Not the best of Areas to be honest. Grenwich is fine (not a place I'd chose for a big night out) but stray into the wrong pub in this part of town and you are in trouble!

 

Charlton one of the few games I can get to without changing trains and crossing London! Mind you a few years ago (2000 season I think) set off to charlton at 12, train pulled out of the station and promptly broke down. We were then stuck on the train for 4 hours. I was gutted the easiest ground to get to and I missed the game.

 

Stansted Express runs into Liverpool St every 30 mins.

Then you just need to nip round on the circle line to grab a train from any of the stations mentioned previously.

 

Can anyone tell me how to get this deal from Donny to Kingcross same day return? £29.05 best i got from websites.
