I'm going to restrain myself for a while on here. However, Paul Heckingbottom is, for me, untouchable this season. He's faced with a tough ask by any standards. Ironically getting relegated might be one of the very few ways of keeping him after this season unless we were to go up. If he keeps us stable in the Championship this year his stock is going to be seriously high.
And before anyone jumps on this that doesn't mean I'm happy for us to go down.

I don't like you? That's news to me. I find you to be an exceptionally polite person who's views I often agree with and often disagree with. I don't enjoy reading your minority reports in full but I always skim read them. Don't take that as a criticism because I did exactly the same with whiteys blog posts and I have praised them many times.

The only aspect of your posts that I don't like are the way you occasionally will say almost outright that you are more knowledgeable than the rest of us when really you are not as you have no idea what anyone elses knowledge or experience is. Other than that I have absolutely no issue with you whatsoever and have no desire to try to pick holes in everything you say. What I will do is challenge you when you state a fact that I don't believe is true. That is all that I have done in this thread isn't it? And it is something I will do with just about any poster on here.

I have posted on this board since 2005 and yet I have only about 2,500 posts to my name. There are people with 18,000 posts in less than half of that time. I read a lot, but I comment infrequently. Admittedly, when I do comment, my comments are much longer than average, but I like the explain the reason why I hold a particular view. I tend not to comment when I have no experience or knowledge of a subject, although I make a exception for football tactics because I enjoy the mental challenge of working out what I think has happened and having my ideas challenged by others. I can assure you that my comments with regard to finance and company law are grounded in a working experience. You might not like what I say, and you might not like how I say it, but that does not make what I say wrong or inaccurate. I usually let these things pass by unchallenged, but a wave of dissatisfaction is gaining strength on this board which I believe is not good for the potential future of my football club, so I decided to put in a few more challenges than the team managed on Saturday by the sound of things, so I called some of the opinions out. You either accept that some of the things that you say are inaccurate, or you do not. I do not care. I let others decide. But yesterday, I found your attitude to being challenged very childish and I unfortunately descended to the same level, which is something I regretted.

Now, we can begin again with a clean slate and with mutual respect, or we can ignore one another. I leave it to you.

Don't think we could blame the manager if that happened, he's effectively told the club that they've not given him the tools for the job. More chance of Hecky leaving of his own accord than getting sacked.
