Not getting one next season due to there being no finance option.

Can’t you just get one on a 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card and set up a Standing Order each month to pay it off? Could even cut the card up once transferred.

Probably cheaper than the £35 admin fee Zebra charged too.

Are they sending a renewal form and letter through the post?

I'm not stalking you here, mate, as I just replied to you in another season ticket thread, but that is a top idea is that.

It also crossed my mind that could Chien Lee self finance this, as a savvy businessman.

If only 3000 folk (and I bet it's more) took finance, that'd be £105000 worth of £35 arrangement fees for him while the season ticket money, itself, went straight onto his businesses (BFC) balance sheet.

I doubt 3,000 people will do it. You also have to take into account that while it sounds like a good idea on paper, financially, you have to think about the cost of collecting on missed payments etc. which is a lot more expensive if you're not a lender already. Zebra, for example, would already have processes for that in place.

Doubt it. Don't think they have for a few years, now.

Why bother in this day and age?

The 0% credit card thing is a no-brainer. If you're eligible you can get up to 28 months of zero credit (Virgin Money / Sainsburys Banking). Obviously better to pay it off over the course of one season, 10 months or so. Poor credit rating? I think Aqua will give six months at 0%. Key thing is DO NOT miss a payment. Set up a standing order.

    Now you bloody tell me!!!

I've just set up Julian Broddle's Permanent Finance Services, to try and beat the competition.
Even got Mr Broddle to star in the TV advert with Michael Parkinson, Dickie Bird and Christine Talbot off Calendar News.

I'm ruined, I tell you. Ruined!!!

(You're probably right though) - smiley face thingy.

Plenty of our fanbase still won't bother we the internet and it was one of the rare times we ever heard from the owners.

Yup. Even if you can afford to pay in full, in some ways this makes more sense too.

If you’re not strict with finances, cut the card up once transferred and set up a standing order, so payments will never be missed.
