Why haven't they written to him though? Why aren't they writing to all lasped ST holders and trying to sell the club to them?
I'm actually one of the most positive people on here. I'm just critical when people hold the club back from reaching its full potential. People like Keith Hill. Or the current board. You think you're a positive supporter but in reality you just tolerate any old *****.
There's the rub...reality...I live in the real world, not sure what planet you inhabit...Looking forward to one of your positive posts though.
I'll be renewing mine come pay day. With Wigan coming down too I have a few "local" away games all within 170 miles or so Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Burnley and Wigan. Not to mention Bournemouth and (hopefully) Yeovil for a couple of road trips to add to however many home games I can make. I bloody love football.
I reckon you're one of those supporters that started going in the 70s and you can't get your around the fact we are not in the fourth division.
It's a civil question. Personally, I don't see how it adds much value. Someone who's been to many games last season, surely knows how ticketing works, and knows exactly where to go to get information on next season? Both season ticket and matchday. Does it really need a letter? I just see it as little more than unnecessary, costly junk mail. I don't expect a letter. Actually, I don't WANT a letter.
If you're planning on renewing anyway then you won't need a letter. In the 2010-11 season I didn't renew until the Friday before the first home game. I received two letters from Mark Robins setting out his vision for the future and how he needed as many ST holders as possible. That kind of thing can sway people. Fans need to know the club has ambition and some supporters like to feel valued by their club. Unfortunately BFC have been very good at alienating people.
I will be buying one this time as well. I lapsed last season due to crap footie the prevoius year, cost of travel, sheer skintedness. But I will be back. I am a true supporter once again.
Yes, at four or five games - my usual tally. £115, I make that. 10-game flex-ticket for somewhere around the £150-£160 mark - club are better off and I'd move hell & high water to get to some extra games. Everyone's a winner.
I think it would need to be a bit more than £150 especially if the club didnt make it stand specific which is probably too complicated Season ticket in Upper tiers = 410 = £17 .80 per game so you couldnt sell 10 game tickets in those stands for less
