Strangely the only 1 I've met who came across like that

was Ashley Ward. That far up his own rear when I was introduced he could only see his own liver.

Damien, my kids were babysat for me by a prem player & his Mrs. All I can say is all the other players I've met where ever they've been from, inc Leeds Utd, in my old job were sweeties

Fixed terms come to an end

so players have to find somert else.

Clubs sell players during contracts pretty damn quick.

It isnt 1 player I'm being loyal to but I'm aware of what its like for their families having been friendly wi a WAG as they're now called since she lived next door

    RE: Howard exciting - yes

There are quite a few players who when they get the ball I think something might happen.

    e.g.
    Moore - boot it aimlessly
    Souza/Anderson - pass it intelligently
Foster - play it as sensibly as posible within his limited ability
Devaney - jiggle it barely controllably between feet before kicking it behind opposing fullback and losing it
Campbell-Ryce - turn inside and imitate exciting but ultimately unrewarding headless chicken
Colace/Leon - pass it with pretty initial purpose but eventually leading to nothing
Odejayi in non-goal threatening position- will most likely win header or lay it off
Odejayi in goal threatening position - will flail embarrassingly
Macken - will already be on his heels so if he gets it will lose it

Ali take off those rose tinted specs

Brian Howard the messiah, that would be the player who went missing against Sheff Utd at home last season because he didnt want to miss his shop window opportunity at Liverpool.

Yeah he had a good game at Liverpool and scored a goal that will live long in the memory.

However since that game he believes himself to be a lot better than he actually is, which is a decent Championship player.

Let him go to Piggy Land, he doesnt want to play for the team that paid his wages for the last few years and the team that put him on the map, I find that disrespectful to Mr Cryne and the supporters.

No one player is bigger than the club, bye bye Brian, close the door on your way out.

RE: there is career move and greed move though.

Don't know Bert, if your saying Howard moved for his career or because he's greedy. I would suggest he had no choice to be greedy or ambitious and if he did who in their right minds would turn down an extra 200 thousand a year wages. I certainly would not and would imagine you would'nt.

I think it will all come out in the wash and we will discover he had no choice.

How is that a reply to my having found most footballers I've met to be good guys?
