To be honest, although both myself and my wife enjoy watching wrestling and have enjoyed Benoits matches over the years, the WWE could not reshow the original RAW and maintain any sense of respectability. To be fair I thought that they were premature in saying that due to company policy they would show a tribute show, a decision that was taken within an hour( according to their timeline) of getting the information that Benoit was dead, before getting all the facts straight. They were right to cancel the T.V recording of RAW but could've waited a bit of time to check all facts out. The fact that when Eddie Guerrero died they had a few days/ hours to discuss what they were going to do helped so no **** up this this was possible. Whilst both myself and my wife will miss Benoit for his wrestling ability, he has ruined his reputation long term.
