Such sad news. Dogs and owners are a genuine two-way loyalty and the heartbreak is painful. We lost our last dog 15 years ago, and I've never plucked up the strength to get another even though I know it'd be the best thing to do. All the best mate.
Sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my dog in October. She walked everywhere with me. Takes a while to know she's not there to greet you from work or on a morning
Can't add anything to what's already been said, other than to say I lost Fuzzy, my Jack Russell Terrier just over a year ago. This should have been one of the best years of my life, but has been the saddest. I can't get another dog due to work / home situation, but I'm going to walk dogs for my ex next year, when she gets some. I have enough of people in my night job, as a DJ & DJ agency owner. Our Furry friends give us some comfort from the madness at times. Sorry for your loss mate. x
Sorry to hear that news mate ,best wishes as your coming to terms with the heartbreak. One of the main reasons I don't have pets was the heartbreaking scenes of my parents when they had to have their dog put down due to kindness concerns. All the best .
I'd absolutely recommend getting a new one. I know it's difficult to imagine when it's so raw, but as soon as you make a new friend it definitely does cheer you up. Especially knowing you've given a great home to somebody who really needs one, letting another dog have that is really comforting. Deepest sympathy to you.
