    So, basically ...

... are you saying I'd be left with no option other than pissing all over ground zero?
    With my ****?
    Where all those people died?

    I'm just glad you didn't need a ****.

Fantasticv food and architypal NY service - just the tiniest bit impatient!

The address is 854 Seventh Ave and I'd really recommend it. Great for lunch.

Go to Kevin St James, 741 8th Ave between 46th & 47th street

best bar in Midtown, top guy who owns it,great bar staff, always packed, open till 4 every night, good grub and they have happy hour on from midday till 17:00 i seem to remember.

Quite a few Irish bar staff.Awesome place

Sight seeing, apart from obvious,go to Rockerfella Tower (50th street between 6th & 7th Ave) and do the 'Top of the rock' observatory, its the best view of Manhatten coz you can see the Empire state building.

Like Fatty Boy said, all those districts he mentioned is where its happening at night, proper Sex in the city land, don't know how old you are though.

Not sure on visiting NY in winter,i know its cheaper, but i'd rather spend that bit more and go in September, when its balmy nights and you can sit out to eat and drink, roof tp bars etc etc thats New York to me.

Oh also.walk over the Brooklyn Bridge (you must do this without fail) all the way across to Brooklyn

don't be scared and turn back like someone i know did, just as the road veers to right to turn into a dual carriage way, go down some steps on left on side and head back towards the river, you are now in DUMBO (district under Manhatten bridge overpass). Cool little area of Brooklyn

Now don't quote me on this, but on the way down to the water, there is a sloping road you end up walking down with a view of one end of the Manhatten Bridge,i think it might be the picture on the cover of 'Once Upon A Time In America' could be wrong like, but good all the same

Go down to decking area at edge of East river and look back on Manhatten and the two bridges and take some good photos. This spot is a very popular place where all manner of music artists have had their picture took,Ryan Adam's 'New York New York' vid was filmed here as was performances by Christina Agquilera and U2 as well pics of Oasis on their first visit. Take a pic of yourself here for that classic NYC photo
