Strangely not it would seem. Not a huge Roses fan tbh, but I do have their debut and collection album. And so I find it bizarre that I didnt click on. I havent, until recently, listened to em for years. So am guessing that back in the day I used to skip the instrumental part, **** knows. Anyway, Ive just downloaded it to my phone as Im not at home right now, listened to it, all 8 mins or whatever, and yes, I feel like the BBS bellend! ;) lol
    Move over [insert name]..
Thanks though guys for clearing that up. I still stick to my view however, I dont like it and would prefer the guitar and vocal section of the track tbh.

If any of your suggestions cost money even though they will bring much more needed money into the club I'd forget it you're wasting your time, The Dons stubborn and set in his ways and nothing will change.

Ps ask him if he's looked at the quotes l sent him for the new scoreboard screen from the supplier of Huddersfield Towns. 3 year lease and money back in no time from the sponsorship on it. I'm struggling to read the current one we have.

I would like to see an end to the Catigory system. A fixed price of £25 per game with no conditions attached.

Reinstate the over 60 concession for season tickets and pay on the Day.

Real Ale at affordable prices ie £2.50, in all bar areas.

Reduce food prices from Motor Way levels to High Street levels.

Traditional half time entertainment, Brass Bands etc.

If you ready the BBS you wouldn't need to ask what we want. We tell the Club often enough.

Is it true that you've suggested some form of loyalty-based pricing predicated around having a Colchester United match ticket stub?

I'm supprised to see you in this thread.

You *do* remember what happened last time you suggested a question/advice for the club ? ;)

Was the survey over the summer a PR exercise or is the club going to publish the results?

Could you ask him how many season tickets at £125/£150 would we need to sell to equal this seasons season ticket income? Taking into consideration the kids ones we give away. Maybe then we could have an idea if an anniversary special price season ticket would work.

Especially after saying "We need to do better as a business, but not at the expense of our fans" which he said before the appointment of Khiller.

look at having a club shop more accessable and visable, like in the Alhambra ? now Nike are on board it maybe more feasable and surely the council could do the club a good deal what with all the current empty shop fronts in the tarn centre

thats about right right in my opinion manilto..
being able to get a pint at a decent price,in a bar owned by the club so that they get all the profits, sell real ale from a local real ale brewer,,,,,,,,,,,,use a local butcher to supply pies to the club, theres a number of butchers who'd do this,if he cant find one i'll get him one,the club could then sell pies at a price where people dont think they are being completely ripped off,,....i'm sure if the club used local produce this alone would start and have a positive effect,,ie,keepnig it local,,,after all theres nobody outside barnsley bothered about us anyway..
i'm not sure what to do at half time, because in all honesty i cant see it making much difference,,but, you never know till you've tried.
fixed price of £22.50,,,with 10% discount for over 60's,tax credit recipients, unemployed, students etc......discount in the club shop on production of 5 matchday ticket stubs..
offer discount packages for colective numbers of employees at local firms, schools etc...
surely marketing and promoting the club cant be that bl oody hard???????????????????????????????

Couldn't agree more, took along a friend on Tuesday who hadn't been this season, he agreed that the football was a vast improvement on last season. Perkins and Mcnultey are clearly could enough for this level. The entertainment on Tuesday was top class with end-to-end stuff, Hull had a real go, we fought hard the last 15 minutes were nail biting, this season has been best entertainment since Bassett, end of story.

Well....I had a really good 2 hour meeting with him today, didn't expect it to be so long, left at 4.25. He was very easy to talk to and I advise people instead of moaning on here to go and speak with him, you will be made more than welcome.

Some great offers will be made over the next few days, some have been put out tonight. Hopefully some good news re ticket prices for the Donny match will surface this week as well.

People really need to come to the table a bit more, I told him I don't agree with the £30 cost as it's putting off away fans as well, but people need to buy into the 1912 offer more. It isn't hard work to get one and it's a good saving. People now have a fantastic offer of the 1 2 3 tickets for some belting xmas games, and the half season pass offer is great value.

The club are only charging the prices to try and keep things a float, Barnsley fans not going are only going to de-rail Barnsley football club. I know times are hard, but other teams in poor area's are still getting bigger crowds. We all need to get behind the club and work together more.

1912 was Badly sold due to the way they released the info. You'll save money after two uses... ...but you won't because all the matches are going up £5 on last season, but we'll not tell you this bit for a few weeks yet.
I've directly been to less matches as a result, even though I got the card early doors and told my friends to too.
    Just a thought like!

I totally agree and have been banging on about this for ages. This season's pricing policy and the subsequent loss of support is the single biggest threat to our future. I am crackers when it comes to watching BFC and yet if I didn't have a season ticket (and I nearly didn't) I know for a fact that I would miss many of the £30 matches purely based on cost. So attracting new or returning fans back at that price is mission impossible. It just won't happen.

Reducing the prices as for Donny is all well and good and should be applauded but I fear the damage has been done.

The only way the club can rectify the damage done this season is to drastically cut prices next year. Thankfully we have the cententary and 125 anniversaries coming up which gives us a great chance to replicate the Huddersfield/Bradford model and get fans back. I just hope the club are sensible enough to do it, because if they don't I genuinely fear for our survival in the medium term, and I certainly know our Championship status would be under threat.

We simply have to be realistic on pricing across the board.
