    Poor performance well taken goal though. Midfield was awful couldn't string a pass together. Phillips was really poor today. Defence far better than last season although MDG tried his best to score another classic own goal. Nice to get three points but expect far better.

    Personally I’m happy if we can keep picking up points ( especially in 3’s) while we get through this transitional phase.

    Really front men were not the issue ,all 3 worked their b,,,,,,,,,,,,s off ,we need to be looking elsewhere in the team for answers.

    Been jet washing my path this afternoon so have not seen anything of the game. Checked BBC - won, wohoo. Checked last 2 pages of this thread, seems we played poorly. So i am just gonna leave it there and take the win. Need a shower now, knackered.

    100% the midfield was often poor last year and have been well below their potential this year.
    We have some really good players, even with best strikers available we need this resolving.

    Love how pissed off he looks and sounded after winning away to a team that will expect to challenge for the play offs.

    Says a lot about the man that he won't let a result cloud his judgement.
