Just watched the full match replay thing on Player. Saw more mistakes in Kennedy and Cranie, than I did in McNulty. Not that I'm having a pop at them. They're BFC players, not Brazilian internationals.
I saw all our defenders, With the exception of M'voto, struggle at various times against some top class players of Bordeaux. Which is why I believe it's unfair to castigate any individual. I doubt we'll play against better opposition this season, unless we get drawn in the cups against one of the better teams in the Premier League.
Re: I saw all our defenders, Said the same to r lass after watching Player. They looked in neutral a lot of the time, but when they upped it a gear looked better than a lot of Premier League clubs. Think these sorts of games can only help us. Not so sure about tomorrow, though. Just hope we get through it without suffering another injury or more. No Etuhu or Digby already. So we're two men down in the centre of the park already, with both unlikely to feature against Wigan.
I'll be happy if We get through tomorrow without picking up any injuries, or someone getting themselves sent off. I agree with you Andy. These friendlies against Bruges & Bordeaux have been entertaining and testing for our players.
Re: I saw all our defenders, Picked up a knock. Nowt serious, but enough to set him back a week or two.
Re: I'll be happy if Had it been the Bordeaux game tomorrow, I'd have attended. Strange having it on Thursday. Even stranger was me getting off the train at 7.30pm and heading into work, and not Oakwell.
