Ta everyone, thought I was on my own! I was making this point to my dad on the way out after the Crystal Palace game and this bloke overheard and said he should have his legs chopped off, which I thought was a bit harsh

That's an interesting approach to improving a player!

Its all well and good saying that...but

....are Barnsley football club really in the position to spend £400k on a foreign footballer who is guaranteed to need 6 months to settle in?

Don't get me wrong, now he's here, we should show patience and give him the chance to settle. But I honestly believe it was one of Davey's few mistakes so far, bringing Mostto here.

Seems everyone from Nolberto Solano to my mates pet Sheepdog knew he'd take time to settle. Shame the club didn't. Unless they are thinking long term, which I don't think they would have been pre-season after just staying up.

    Have that

    6 appearances 5 as sub...

As I said last week, some players got whole seasons to settle in/develop in the past.
I think that patience will bring dividends with Miguel. Hope so, I bought a Peru top!

Don't necessarily disagree with that and said the same thing when we signed him. My points are that he is here now so he should be given a chance otherwise we have wasted £400k and he has a lot of potential and if we start to pick out his intelligent runs he will score goals.

So what you're saying is that people should show patience?

I think you're on the wrong board mate. You won't get much of that here

    You're not wrong tho

Don't be bullied mate by what is seemingly consensus of opinion by the BBS Mossto groupies. I will ask the following 2 questions which no one has ever given an answer to of merit a) Other than an open net goal which he scored v Burnley has anyone seen Mossto do anything of note with the ball. I exclude one or two neat short passes but FFS neat short passes are not gonna get us anywhere. 2) Including friendlies, can anyone demonstrate any noticeable sign of improvement and if so in which games and why?

The reason Mosstto can do no wrong in the eyes of the majority of posters on this board is that they want their £400,000 great white hope to take the league by storm. Had Mattis cost as much, the same people would insist he'd come right eventually if he only he's given time.

Davey obviously doesn't rate him otherwise he would get a few more starts

If he plays every game to the end of season he won't get five goals
