I've rarely ever attacked our ownership since they took over. However in my day job, one of the skills I need to have is the ability to spot untruths.
In the past month my bullsh*t alarm had been going off daily in relation to the club.
Nothing adds up, they're giving number 10 a run for their money in relation to spin, bluster and treating the public like mugs.
I know some folk are still giving them the benefit of the doubt. However it doesn't cost anything to be truthful with folk. Instead folk are pouring over wording, trying to make the words fit their narrative. Sorry but that's just a byproduct of ridiculously shocking communication.

The hiding behind the court proceedings in relation to the ground ownership issues also doesn't add up. If all the parties involved have a good working relationship, then why hasn't this been resolved without the extra legal costs?

In my day job - on behalf of my clients - I lie, deceive and tell the truth in half-truths, so it ends up nothing like the truth.

My clients succeed because reasonable people give them the benefit of the doubt. Every time.

Movement and lubrication once a month can keep even the oldest of erected sculptures in working order.

Regardless of last season; there's a total different fervour regarding our Club this year. Everything feels wrong and there's so much uncertainty , heightened by a lack of news etc.

Yes, we've always been a selling club, but the feeling I have personally is that the owners couldnt give a hoot! They're certainly not bothered about the feelings of the fans and the traditions of the game from where I'm sat!

But it is odd that nobody asked Dane Murphy about the £750k when the accounts were published, yet the question is put to the new CEO in one of his first interviews.

I don’t know why others didn’t clock it straight away, nor why the media didn’t pursue it. Pretty sure it was Archerfield that picked it out, and I’d commented on the reserves ebbing away at a swift rate. Maybe because it was more technical it didn’t evoke the emotion of the other major issues of late.

Either way, issues have often been flagged at the time they’ve occurred, there’s been plenty of people who’ve been all too swift to downplay them too.

Ah, I thought that was just the court cases that he was questioned about but wouldn’t rely on my memory for anything
