RE: My Mum might get a letter for this ...

    im in the middle mate,

i do rate AR, and i do rate GS, GS has said time and again, his job has one objective, financial stablility (and i agree, remaining int eh chapionship would help that).

AR has another job - its getting the best results on the field.

i dont think he has been offered mega bucks for signings, but i dont think he's been offered a couple of quid too, i think he has been offered some reasonable sums... not the money for chopra, i think was way out of price range on any estimation due to the fincancial **** PR left us in,

so i reckon, Ar has been offered some money where he could ahve made a couple of reaonsable signings, but AR, as manager, has decided he can do the job with the team he currently has. thats a managers decision and i hope it comes good. i think this has been a rough patch and we're gonna come out of it.

If I offered the Frickley Manager £500k ...

... to spend on players - I'm sure he'd say "go ballax, I'll stick with what we've got".

Anyone who thinks Andy Ritchie has been given a great big pot of cash to spend, and has refused to do so, is a complete deaconoid.

I bet Connie Jokeman is handy in business.
I bet he worked on Wall Street & got a degree from Derby.

    Infantile twaddle rant over.

what balls, the club still runs at a loss, it still has to pay off the interest on its debts, it still has to pay off the debts itself...

when a club like BFC has a bit of a windfall like flinders, its not free money... the club still has to pay its way.

i certainly still back richie, i think he will manage us out of this rough patch, i agree a couple of signing would help - but i still think we've seen the worst of it, our young uns will ahve learnt much over the past few weeks, so onwards and upwards.

Totally and utterly baffled by the idea that we should jettison Ritchie, the man who did what Paul Hart and a load of cash couldn't.</p>

    Ah - right.

Are they in "Dicksplashology" & "Advanced Dicksplashology"?

You really think Gord is doing a good job attracting new business to the club?
He's about as inspiring as your posts about tactics.

Just answer this ... should Ritchie be sacked or get a new contract?
It doesn't take a degree to work out that they are mutually exclusive.

I agree with you there Johnb we are certainly going through a rough patch.
What worries me is that I can't see what AR and RH are doing to put things right.

Andy Ritchie and Paul Hart (as assistant)

Paul Hart to sign the players

Ritchie to get the best out of them

exactly. If AR came out and said, "gordy's offered me two bob and that only gets me Jonny Wankstick from Ragarse Rovers so I've decided to stick with what I've got" - he'd get sacked.
