North Korea

I think a million or more died of starvation a few years back. And they have to all that choreagraphed dancing and smiling whilst waving flags. Perhaps they starve themselves to death to avoid it.

No country is dangerous

their governments are the ones that are dangerous and any has the potential to be, therefore, right now, I would say the Israelis.

 

The fact the military is ruling is a good thing at the moment.

They know the consequences of foolhardy military action. Nutcase religious types couldn't care less so probably wouldn't think twice about using Nukes if they had them.</p>

Its the military in Turkey thats preventing the islamic fundamenalists gaining a politicak stronghold. The military support secularism and not religious fundamentalism.</p>

 

Who are North Korea a threat to?

Their piss poor attempt at &quot;long range missiling(is that a word?)&quot; a couple of weeks ago showed them to barely be a threat to South Korea let alone the rest of the world.</p>

How they can be a threat to the US when they are 6,000 miles away? The US have spent billions on missile defence, they would have at least 6 hours to shoot the missile down should one be launched, and if they cant stop a missile from North Korea then they have wasted a lot of money.</p>

so its no wonder we support them in the midst of arab fanaticism.</p>

Do doubt it would be more dangerous if Isreal were left to its own devices.</p>

Pakistan will only kick off if the US push them or fail to act in an even handed manner. So far they've supported the US bt if they get nothing back ...

There comes a time when no matter how big the other bloke is, if you think you're being bullied and there's no other way out or no end in sight, you stand up and fight and you go for the goolies if necessary

Pakistan may be nuclear but to use that against Isreal or the US would be suicide - which is only an option if you are given no option.

Read your history. Not that according to Blair that the world started in 1997, nor the one that all problems commenced with the formation of the State of Israel in '48. Muslims have been a world problem since the murderer Mohammed and his hoards went rampaging west and east out of what is now Saudi Arabia.

 

Churchill did a lot to block the Jews in Palestine

It was the UN that declared the state of Isreal. Palestine was a UK colony and we tried pretty hard to keep the Jews out - even when they were fleeing Nazi pursicution during WW2

If you want my view on Isreal. Britain were pretty abhorent during WW2 in their treatment of the Jews and blocking them escaping to Palestine.

The Jews fought hard to create their state, but took by force land that wasn't theirs, but they aren;t the first to do that and they won't be the last. We owned this land first hasn't ever held much sway. You get what you work and fight for in this world. They have worked hard to create the Isreali state and deserve a break, but if you take land, expect people to fight back.

I don't believe those views make me anti-semetic, but if you aren't 100% for them I gues you have to be judged to hate them.
