RE: You go on soccerbase I just want to know who the other team he has been promoted with - as far as I'm aware he started his managerial career at Macclesfield I'm not saying there isn't a difference but you're making out it's night and day (that's not a metaphor btw)
Profile and experience and stats all 3 point towards Ince being a better, wiser, less risky choice. If we can only afford Robins, you need to be asking that question again about where all the moneys gone.
Which 2 sides are they then? He's only managed 1 side for a full season - so Im looking forward to your answer. Heres the soccerbase link you keep referring to: http://www.soccerbase.com/managers2.sd?managerid=2053 Let me know if you want any other information.
Happy birthday for tomorrow I bet you're looking forward to the free bus rides and cheap football tickets aren't you
Ince IS the 1st choice and always has been. But realistically I personally don't think he'll be jumping the Dons ship again in the near future. Robins I reckon is our backup plan and the one that is more likely to come off.
Because... their chairman expectd him to say "I don't want to go to Barnsley, I want to stay here". Instead, he came for talks and is now either mulling it over or waiting to meet PC. Or both.
In that case... Davey should have got the boot in the summer and Ince should have been brought in for nowt.
I agree totally. I just really wanted Davey to succeed, and i suspect Paddy did too. In hindsight it certainly would have been the best thing to do.
