    We’ve thrown this one away. Let India get too many and then collapsed like a pack of cards. Not a great wicket I agree but can’t see India failing to get 192.

    We’ve had a real shocker of a day. A 50 run lead was still useful if we had batted well, but they were too good for us today. It’s a real shame the last 2 games we’ve been in strong positions but then had a horror day. I suppose their class has shown through on both occasions but it’s still frustrating.

    All our spinners have performed very well but their 3 have a lot of experience and are truly world class as you say.
    I wonder how Leach may have performed ?
    We’ll never know …

    Can't understand Woakes chewing up so many balls for so few runs,when he was running out or partners.

    Don't know what Stokes was thinking opening the bowling with a part time spinner. That decision got what it deserved.

    Jurel doing well under pressure. Risbah Pant is back in training for the start of the IPL, after his horror crash in December 2022. He's easily their best wicket keeper and will be back in as long as he gets anywhere near his best. The crash was so bad he might not be the same player on his return and reach the same heights.

    I wondered where Pant was !
    Didn’t know about his crash and have just read that he may not keep wicket any more but he’s one helluva batter anyway.

    Shubman Gill is such a classy player. India had the umpire calls and the toss against them and still won with 5 wickets to spare!
