    Been a few positives in the series, mainly the performances of the spinners, but to lose 4-1 to basically an Indian reserve side is very poor.
    The batting at times has been horrific.

    Root, Bairstow, Stokes, Foakes haven’t been good enough all series. You don’t win anywhere, nevermind in India, without your middle order scoring runs. The frustrating thing is that they’ve had the platforms but just not taken advantage of it. Feels like a big missed opportunity this tour.

    It was always going to be very hard in their own backyard but at least we got one win and it gave us a bit of hope albeit briefly !
    The plus point has been watching some world class spin bowling on both sides ( mainly on their side ).

    I think 3-2 would have been a fairer scoreline but England didn't capitalise on winning positions and fell apart too often.
