    Decent total this, if we could push to 250 it would be a good total. Rehan and Hartley really provided some impetus after we lost our way after lunch.

    They said the current wicket is in similar condition to 3 or 4 day wicket so 250/260 could be a match winner

    People saying this is a decent ish total. How do they know? Let's wait until India have completed their first innings and then we will know. If they rack up 400 plus then it's obviously not a respectable total.

    But how would they pay for it like I asked? Sky have made the right choice not overpaying for the series. For 2-3 days of each test, most people will only be able to watch an hour at breakfast at the most due to time difference.

    It isn't worth it for what should be 5-0 to India. We couldn't beat Australia at home, so will be lucky to beat India away even once. They have played Bazball against us so far.

    Having 2 very inexperienced spinners up against excellent players of spin was always going to have that danger. Particularly when at least one of them hasn't established themselves as a red ball bowler yet.

    Don’t think we’re a batter light. 6 specialist batters with Foakes at 7 and Ahmed at 8 doesn’t look too bad.

    Would be a much better team if you swapped Ahmed and Hartley for Dawson and Anderson though

    Anyone watching ?
    It’s turned out to be a good Test match after all and we’ve still a chance of winning … perhaps !
    If we can leave a target of 200+ it would be very nice thankyou.

    Leyth, I think and hope that Ahmed will be our regular test player of the future .
    He’s a potential proven all rounder and shows confidence and maturity for his tender age.

    I'm watching. Cant sleep cos just had a knee replacement and in bloody agony. Brilliant recovery from England but still might not be enough. Here's hoping.
