    At least it's not cost us anything. Mistakes happen and we've benefitted from wrong decisions too. Much better system than football's VAR.

    we are going to have to play bloody well from here to get anything. Obviously you shouldn’t judge until both teams have had a go but it’s ragging sideways on day 1.i think 300 is well above par and India’s spinners will enjoy this

    It is a much better system I agree totally. But in those two reviews all the information was there to give the batsmen out. There may have been a "benefit of the doubt" issue with the stumping, but it looked out as his foot wasn't clearly behind the line. The catch was clearly out and the retention of the review confirms this. They just didn't use the technology properly. Incompetence at test cricket level.

    Just like football, it’s easy to believe the guy not playing must be better. Bess was unlucky but may not have bowled any differently based on what we’ve seen so far

    I think he was questioning whether Foakes had broken the wicket rather than the ball. He will certainly have some kind of punishment. However, as he is a Demi-god it won’t be much

    exactly my point. It’s like when the clamour goes up “why isn’t plater X in the team?” Just because player A isn’t playing well doesn’t automatically mean player X will be any improvement.
