    Can tell were rubbish as I'm switching off.
    Like st James park goalie sent off in early minutes 4 down at half time .
    Slipped out of the ground at half time with monk on.

    If they got rid of "Umpire's Call", then they might as well get rid of in field umpires alltogether. Just sit one infront of a bank of TV screns and go through the DRS process after each appeal.

    The DRS was invented to prevent howlers, not prove an umpire wrong when the decision is too tight to call. Again, it's the big issue with VAR in football. It's undermining linesman(and women) by giving players offside by margins the human eye can not see at normal speed. If it had an umpire's call type rule, then there wouldn't be half the problems we've seen with it...

    I once faced Tim Bresnan when I opened for Pontefract in the juniors. I hit the first ball for four through cover, the second through point for four and was skittled the third ball. Two swallows don't make a summer.

    Yeah it's self preservation. I used to do it when I had face on at my Captain for batting me at number 9. Ironically I had my most success batting down the order.
