That favella is decent... but don’t accept the cheaper cuts of meat.

Estabulo is nice, too. Same style as Favella. All you can eat Brazilian steakhouse.

Accept whatever meat they bring round... no reason not to. Can always ask for some fillet steak if you want to.

Bombay Rasoi is excellent. Formerly India Gardens...

Nope...its overpriced bland pap. The best one near the town centre is the one at Gawber. I think it is Gate of India. Near Hospital anyway.

Best one in town in the one opposite Post Office. Used to be an Indian, then was a Tapas place. Back to being an Indian / Nepalese restaurant. Had a few cracking meals.

Royal Spice and Balti Palace at Darton take some beating. Tandoori Hut is way overpriced.

Well our of your way but if anyone ever fancies a top notch curry then go to Zara's at tickhill in donny. Absolutely unreal.

Another vote for Bombay Rasoi upstairs in peel square as you said 'town centre'.

Used to go to the Gardens most Fridays after a skinful in tarn.
Great bloke called Aziz was main man - think he ended up at the one up near hospital.
Also loved the Pipasha Cottage/Jalsa opposite the post office. Lad called Amrad ran that well and now has that takeaway at Barugh Green that used to be The Spencers. It’s absolutely fantastic food and one of many things I miss about living in Barnsley.
