It has. In fact, he was at his most prolific in a 4 man midfield.

Not advocating that's what we do, but just disagreeing with the idea he can't play in a four.

It doesn't play to his strengths. Leave him to worry about attacking and linking with the striker.

I dunno, mate. I just remember us playing two up front and four in midfield when he was scoring all those goals under Danny. So it felt a little unfair reading that it didn't work. That's all.

I've no interest in that, it's irrelevant to the only point I've made, the only contest to your argument, and that's that it has worked having Hourihane in a four.

Keith Hill believed Wiseman was our best centre half and captain. Managers are wrong sometimes.

Fans are wrong sometimes too. Just because it worked for a spell doesn't mean it can continue to. It's also been ineffective in other spells. Our manager doesn't think it possible. I don't think it'd work consistently.

All along, I've only stated that it has worked, and often, with him in a midfield four. Nowhere have I suggested that's what I'd select. I've offered no opinion on it.
