    That lad stood at train station waiting to know if he can go or not vould just have told his agent to sort it because he was signing anyway

    Some players still use the PFA to represent them.

    They do get legal advice via the union (Pfa)

    But they choose not to use it

    A big reason why agents are involved is because players like the cache of having one. They don't just do the deals either they sort their lives out for them.

    The players with their heads screwed on don't need their lives running for them and just instruct a solicitor to negotiate a deal. Those players are few and far between.

    Not about the price anyway it's about the quality. Early days yet of course, but we look to have signed some talented player at bargain prices relatively speaking
