It puzzles me why Labour continue to be blamed for the recession that followed the GLOBAL economic crash of 2008. Even the Governor of the Bank of England said there was nothing they could have done about it.
Why, unless you are well above average wages ? The only ones that have enjoyed any kind of boom during the last 5 years have been the top earners, not even the middle earners have got an increase. Drip down economics does not work. Someone earning 100 times the average wage does not spend 100 times the money that an average person does. It just does not happen, so therefore the money is stagnating in the top echelons and is not moving down the chain by the rich spending to help the economy. The rich spend their money in a totally different area than the one that will help the economy.
