So you'd rather have a striker who scores half as many goals

Just so they don't miss as many chances.

Even for you, thats a strange statement

A man called Ian rush once said the more you shoot the more you score.

this will be a big disappointment to me if Haynes Leaves, he is by far the most lively, dangerous player we have - I cant believe there are people on here critisicing him, he was the only one last season that gave us a threat and when he played up front he produced the goals. A record of 1 in 3 speaks for itself.....what do people want, do you think we are going to bring someone in to equal or better that? - look how many strikers we have tried over the years that have not got close to that, when you get one you need to keep hold.

This is not the thing that we should be doing if we are building on what we've got, by all means bring in some younger lower league players but we need to SOME experienced championship quality players - for me Butterfield and Haynes are critical to our attacking options this season.

    Better than Wayne Rooney then

Rooney scored once every 7.1 shots last season, so for Rooney to get 15 goals it took him 106.5 shots. Of course, this figure is based on official statistics, rather than a figure being plucked out of the air like yours is.

If you can't see that Haynes is a decent player then you don't deserve eyes.
