RE: Excellent Yeah, so the currency and whole country is going down the swanny, but as long as you're not paying much interest on your mortgage, that's OK then. The sooner we get shut of that Scottish imbecile the better.
RE: I thought they wanted to get the banks lending again I'm no expert, but I'm sure it will have a negative effect. If there's no point in saving, people aren't going to deposit money into banks for the banks to then lend out again. Isn't that how we got into this mess, with banks lending money they haven't got? Gordon Out.
Going down the swanny? I think you'll find its a return to Keynesian economics that will be the foundation of our economic recovery, chief advocate Mr Brown, absolutely the best man to be at the helm in these times. A dour Scottish grafter is exactly the man I want crunching spreadsheets and pouring over the fine detail 20hours a day.
And replace with what? Cameron? Are you one of them 'working class Tories'? I thought theyd all deed.
please tell me you're pissed? Bank of England rates are not Gordon Browns decision anymore by the way and haven't been for 11 years.
So you're disappointed that your gamble for free money isn't returning as much as you'd hoped. You're still getting money for nothing though right?
RE: Going down the swanny? Deary, deary me. The fact there are still people like you means it's time to emigrate.
RE: I thought they wanted to get the banks lending again Yea right, what about us poor savers worked their knackers off to save for old age. Now the bloody greedy bankers are paying hardly any interest to us, but stuffing millions, still into their pockets as bonuses. (doh) (doh)
Well, according to the IMF, any of the major economies in the developed world will be better then the UK.
Save? That's where you're going wrong. That's not what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to spend everything you've got, then when it's all gone, borrow and spend all that too. And when the country is screwed because everyone owes what they can't afford, then spend some more to get us out of this crisis.
modern life is rubbish ..aye, and despite the fact the world has limited scarce resources, and ever increasing levels of pollution and rubbish, just keep buying, consuming, throwing away, buying, consuming, throwing away goods that wedon't needat an increasing level of knots to save the economy until all there is left is to wallow in the massive debt and rubbish we have created for ourselves...
There's got to be a better way!

Havent had a drink for over a week. Might not be his decision directly, but the panel are hardly beyond influence. I know someone who's worked for him, he's a grafter and expects those around him to do the same. Horrible cnt to work for, dour, sense of humour bypass, believes in hard work and respects the working man. Bit like Davey actually. I can see why he's not popular on here.
RE: I thought they wanted to get the banks lending again let's all save our money and spend nowt, thatll help businesses thrive. Its savers that have given the banks the resources to gamble and speculate. Shame on you.
RE: Save? Your right best thing to do is spend. I have a new passtime SKI ing (SPEND KIDS INHERITANCE)
RE: Great time to buy investment property. If you could get a mortgage But is it anyway? - house prices still falling
