As far as I'm aware, unless there's a specific release clause in a manager's contract, the compensation paid to the club from whom the manger is lured away amounts to the value of his remaining contract. This guy is relatively inexperienced, managing a team in a league in which there isn't all that much money. He didn't have a contract worth a million Euros and we haven't paid that much compensation. That doesn't reflect on his ability one way or another, it just hasn't happened. There's one too many zeros. At least.
Sounds a good manager and glad to see something happening in terms of replacing DS but what I do find interesting is if you look at the team he manages now, they have a big mix of youth and experience which he certainly won’t get here, unless they have caved and are going to change the model. If they do change that idea then it makes it more strange as the why DS left. if you look at this link https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolfsberger-ac/startseite/verein/4441 it shows the squad he manages now which has lots of players 28 or over. Also most of those older players started in their last game vs Red Bull Salzburg
Like all new managers/coaches I`ll form an opinion on him from what I get to see on the pitch, most of us fans are like that and always have been. We give em a chance so there is no need for this get behind em rubbish.
