What's the point of testing if you can't ditch your mask?

    I just don't get that

This is unfair and also illogical.

I don't know how America have done their vaccination, but in the UK we have done it in broadly most at risk to least at risk.

We also have people who cannot have the vaccine due to medical conditions.

So, to segregate in the UK would be to put those who have had to wait or or unable to have the vaccine in a 'special area' through no fault of their own.

    That's wrong.

It's stupid because we have had the vaccination so that we are safer and can mix with those who haven't had the vaccination.

    That's how herd immunity works.

Some reight over thinking going on here, giving me a headache. Solution is simple..

Just let the over 50s into the playoff games. Young uns will get their chance in around 2045.. :)

The most surprising thing I've learned in this thread is that 5000 people went to a Blossom's gig.

I've seen them in a crowd of 100 at Edgeley Park social club.

Saw them in San Francisco to around 200 people. A couple of Stockport shirts and scarves in that 200 even though I think they're quite open about being Citeh fans

Is it ruining your life having to put a mask on every now and again?

I reckon for the play offs if we could sell every seat under no restrictions at all back to normal life, we would sell out the stadium easily.

take it you don't like the Blossoms then!? It was a test event and I think my daughter was just desperate to go to any concert again.

My preferred choice would be an area for people that still wanted to distance, either for medical reasons, or if they were uncomfortable to go back to normal seating. I reckon it would be a small, but significant minority that could be catered for. Especially, if we sort out the East Stand, or section off the away end. Would be some access issues no doubt, but something along those lines would make sense, plus continued free iPlayer for those who feel they can't attend at all. I appreciate the last idea is out of our hands, as it is an EFL deal.

Just trying to propose an alternative.

Oh I'm not critical of the event - it's great that folk can get to stuff like this now, and long may it continue.

Just not a fan of them. Mind you, I doubt they care about the views of this middle aged grouch.

I've been in NY for the whole of the pandemic and it's been pretty tough, although we are gradually getting back to a little more normality.

You have to remember, last March this was pretty much the epicenter of the pandemic for a while - seeing thousands being hospitalized daily was very unnerving. I picked up COVID around that time too but luckily wasn't a big deal for me really (male 30's).

We have been on pretty much the same level of lockdown for the entire pandemic. Finally, there are plans on July 1st to open up the city to some degree of normality. People are pretty open to the restrictions here after what happened, but are keen to get things opened up. There isn't a blanket rule for each region for this.

Apparently they are also going to offer a covid jab at the ground and give you free entry if you get it............
