    To be fair this plays directly into the Wilder rumour because there's no media source reporting the story and all we've heard from this Is supposed ITKs.

    I probably focussed too much on questions about the staff canteen - you know, is it subsidised? what are the portions like? Do they do meal deals? Do they throw in a free pudding on a Friday?
    I had a couple of cracking questions on bomb alley lined up too ........ feel I let myself down a tad.

    I'd say the opposite. It adds a bit of credence to it. The rumour was that we'd agreed with Wilder on Friday for him to be new Head Coach then there is a media announcement that the interview process is over. It might be bo ll ock s. However, this doesn't defuse that rumour in the slightest.

    What if who ever has been or is currently on holiday & arranging a press conference and introduction etc is all about timing , it wouldn"t be good of the club if they announce it whilst someone is on for example on a family holiday would it. Incidentally , I have no knowledge apart from maybe one of the candidates but I am just throwing out a reasonable theory .

    Or if the internal candidate was away on holiday and you owed it to them to at least give them an interview before appointing an external candidate.

    I thought all the potential internal candidates were at Worksop on saturday , Devaney & Harben for example although I could be wrong

    Or the new person wanted to meet the coaches as part of their due diligence before taking the role. To find out if they could work together, etc.

    Whoever we have interviewed must have been out of work then. Because you can guarantee if say we went for the Stockport gaffer, their local media would have known and spilled the story.

    For me, it’s either Disco, Wilder, Moore or Nathan Jones.
