The most important word to know is 'Gezellig' (given that Beer is Bier and is pronounced pretty much the same....). Bier and Gezellig go hand in hand.
Nah, I'm not your typical bird, I'd say (ask Runner ). Anywho, my parents used to listen to ABBA, and I used be forced to listen to it in the car, one of those lovely Ford Escorts, on a cassette tape, so I do know most of the lyrics. Unfortunately.
Nowt wrong with Fords with cassette players in them, Ive driven Escorts and Fiestas over the years, & even a Sierra once lol.
Oh no, I'm quite loyal to Ford. Even though we've got a Citroën at the moment, which secretly I hope will not last long... :X
Can tell tha not frum Tarn. You're literate, grammatically correct and your spelling was top notch. But don't worry, we'll find a way to pull you to bits.
Haven't you seen Al Murray the pub landlord.... he says its a pint for the bloke and a glass of wine or a fruit based drink for the ladies. Birds shouldn't drink pints. Btw that Dutch Oranjebloom lager is a decent pint, definitely.
I speak German so I can guess what "Gezellig" means. I've just got home after an evening of "Gesellschaft". I'm guessing that we're talking about "a good neet art"?
Not a bird then Btw. No, it's not. They stopped selling it there in 2009 or summat, you're probably drinking all the leftovers.
Summat like that. There isn't really an English word that translates directly to 'Gezellig', it's a state of mind....
Put Mr.Runner back on here, hes a bloke and he must know his beer/lager lol. (am I being sexist, well yes I suppose I am!!) We get that stuff in cans over here and I sup it, and the Polish stuff is getting more popular like Tyskie. And bearing in mind thats an anagram of Tykies... which is what we all are on here... need I say anymore ?. (ohh soz about the 'ladies' thing, I promise I won't say that again and I will stick with 'birds' from now on lol.)
If you enjoy a headache after drinking something that closely resembles water, Oranjeboom is the way to go!
