    I think Frieser is starting to adapt to English football & will get better. His long throws are useful too. Thomas & Simoes both need more game time in L1 & may yet prove good. I'd keep Chaplin for now, as we need cover. I don't think Schmidt is in VI's plans & we may get money for him going back to Austria / Germany. I'd like to see Styles on the left of the front 3 if Jordan Williams comes back & we can extend Matty James' loan to the end of the season. Kane & Palmer will only improve.

    Thomas and Simoes could prove to be good championship players. So could Schmidt, Miller, Marsh and Aitchison. My point is, we simply cannot keep them all, especially if we are bringing in new forwards.

    I don't think Miller & Schmidt will cut it. The others need game time & more of a chance. Opinions only. Based on what I've seen. Schmidt probably kept us up last season, but is clearly not in VI's plans, like Bahre. Some players don't adapt to English football. VI seems to get how "a team like Barnsley" need to play to be successful. Fancy flicks & touches are not enough. Vertical football.
