I suppose it'd be without us playing with Connell and Mads. Point is though, we, and every other club have had to do it in the past - why should they be any different?!

Oh yeah, I completely agree with that. My point is that I still think they'd have had a better chance then, given that we'd have been without Connell and in the middle of a big run of fixtures.

Doing a bit of research for this post has made me realise for the first time that they spent £1.5m on a player in January though. That completely passed me by, and feels absolutely insane! Is Hristov generally reckoned to still be our record signing, for about the same amount 25 or so years ago?

Did Sergeant Pepper teach the band to play?

Why without Connell or Mads. ? Neither to the best of my knowledge were unavailable.

But the ipswich game had potential to be much bigger with both in the running for top 2.

I suspect we'll both know our fate by then - certainly in terms of the top two. If not - that would make it one hell of a game.

The best we can hope for I think, is to go into that last game with Peterborough knowing that a win takes us up automatically.

I was going to say let’s not just restrict that to the Ipswich game, but then I realised that I wouldn’t recognise any Ed Sheeran songs anyway. I’ve heard bits of one or two but then just close my ears.

It was an example mate. Ipswich fans were saying 'would you play without your 2 best players' after the match got called off. I replied to Sestren saying from a fan point of view I can understand why they didn't wanna lose their 2 best players for our game, hence they wanted it rearranged

It's hard at the moment to see how big a game this could be. The next two games are all we need to focus on for now.

Win those & it could be.

I'm starting to sound like Duff, which ain't a bad thing. Every game is a banana skin. We need to score first, that is why Devante's goal was crucial on Saturday. Same in these two methinks.

If we were out of a chance of automatic by then, and beating Ipswich meant that Wednesday went up automatically (rather than Ipswich), would you still wish us to beat Ipswich to guarantee Wednesday promotion?

I expect us to go out to win every remaining game, we shouldn't concern ourselves with what that does to other teams positions. Win the lot, we'll go up automatically.
