I’m a big fan based on last years performance. But seems to have been off the pace or injured this season. Hopefully back to his best soon…
He was poor today, but it doesn"t take long for the knives to come out does it , we are not second from bottom because we have a team full of world beaters .
Like said about Morris, on his day Brittain would get j to most teams in this league on his day. Granted, he hasn’t been as consistent this year as he was last but doesn’t help he’s been playing under two ***** managers. Top footballer and we need to keep him for next season.
I can't remember him ever beating a man and putting a good cross in and he get caught out of position defensively too often. Wouldn't be sorry to see him go at the end of the season. League 2 at best. (which is where we're heading if we're not careful)
This thread is class. Calllum is easily good enough to play right back or wing back in this division. His biggest failing is getting in good positions and not putting the ball in the goal. He’s got stacks of talent, heart and fight for the cause. He’s another lacking confidence, who has been injured and it’s now trying to get his head around a third managers tactics in a year.
I asked the question because I can remember him openly questioning the first manager at the start of the season when his performances all season have been ***** and tbh spineless, doesn't try and doesn't look like he's gave a toss all season. About time someone questions his performances.
Last season's Callum Brittain was a pretty good Championship right wing back, missing only the ability to cross well consistently and not turn to jelly when presented with a shooting opportunity. This season's Callum Brittain has been an awful, defensively soft, slow, often caught in possession, stray passing, whingey-whiner under Schlopp and now seemingly apathetic to the cause under Asbaghi. Will the real Callum Brittain, please stand up!
Last season he was superb until he ran out of steam in the last dozen or so games and he's brought that form in to this season. Could be a brexit for Brittain this summer
