I don't think its Collins fault tbh, I blame the stupid recruitment process that basically gives us subs that are just a pair of fresh legs but on the same type of player.
Where are the players who can drive at the opposition ( ala Ronnie G) or fast quick footed type that scares the opposition in the box?
Also how come our forwards are just too late to get on the end of a ball into the box, happens far too many times, where's the anticipation?

Wingers, wingers, wingers or wide forward players.

Lower league teams trying to play like premier league teams with a team full of donkeys.

Maybe the "One Trick Pony" gameplan is how it's done in America and he can't break the habit because he simply doesn't know how!

I suspect the club wants us to play 352 and as a consequence we've put all our eggs in one basket, they probably believe for attracting bids it's the most likely as not many teams play with wingers these days.
This leaves us stuck to a degree in terms of flexibility and makes us predictable, been saying it for months it needs a Plan B, what that looks like I've no idea as we're limited.

When you’ve a dearth of right wing backs I suppose it would be mad to play without one on the pitch.

Looking at our strongest area on the pitch which is surely central midfield, we need to make the most of that which means playing 3 in the middle.

That really narrows the options to one of either 4-3-3, 4-3-1-2, 4-5-1 and 3-5-2.
I don’t think 4-3-3 is really an option with the players we’ve got as we don’t have any traditional wingers/wide attackers and we all whinged when Ismael kept Woodrow on the right of a 3 when he should have been in the box getting shots on target.
4-3-1-2 might work, but I don’t think Cadden is a traditional full back and with no one in front of him I reckon he’d be pretty exposed. I don’t think there’s a place for Cadds or Cotter in that formation.

So in conclusion I’d say that 3-5-2 is the formation that best suits our players and that’s why we play it.
