Are some people on this board completely ignorant or what? The problems in the Middle East are very complex involving various factions, religions, ethnic groups and nations. The easy solution is of course to bomb the f**k out of everything that moves in the hope of defeating ISIL (and rest assured bombing of ISIL will kill civilians which no doubt some think is ok to do) but BECAUSE the region is so complex that's precisely why we shouldn't knee jerk into bombing. Bombing on its own will solve absolutely nothing. It's a sterile idea. And yet some people still slag off Corbyn for saying we should get relevant groups round a table to try and stabilise the region... Unbelievable. Corbyn has denounced ISIL, he has publicly stated so and yet he is still berated. Try not to believe everything the Daily Mail says. Get informed. Use some common sense and think! And don't even try and compare the complex situation in Syria and the rest of the Middle East with the appeasement of Hitler in the 1930's. It's a non-starter of an argument. We are not dealing with a nation state controlled by a dictator here. Again, try and use some logic and think.

You could kill every IS fighter in Syria and it wouldn't reduce the terrorist threat. Most of the terrorism is committed by people who haven't been anywhere near Syria.

Corbyn was elected by a large majority of the party members entitled to vote.

Centrist Labour MP's (including our own Major Dan) have been elected by large majorities in their constituencies - who knew them to be centrist.

It is the electorate - not the Labour Party faithful - who will elect the next Parliament/Government.

Or people voted Labour and got the centrist MP put in their constituency by the parliamentary party. The PLP are very unrepresentative of Labour voters.

Completely agree with your second point though. But Labour won't win over the electorate with Labour values whilst ever careerist Blairite MPs keep undermining their democratically elected leader and ignoring the public on issues like Trident

That's not true to be fair.

Nearly every time there's a terrorist attack you read that they spent time in Syria / Iraq / Afghanistan in recent years.

Several of the Paris attackers had come from Syria

The Charlie Hebdo attackers hadn't been to Syria, although they had tried to and were associated with people who had.
