I haven't voted because I don't think you can classify a player as either 'good' or 'bad'.

Currently I think he is one or our weaker players but that doesn't mean he won't turn out to be a 'good' player.

I like him a bright spark in a very depressing season.

I think this is a horrible thing to do to a young lad, one of our own, who's been thrown in to a shark infested situation and left to sink or swim. With no sign of any respite.

Is he the best we've got... yes. that says more about the boards failure to recruit a suitable team for the level we play at however than anything else.

It wasn't meant to be. I saw a lot of posts criticising him, and one in particular reckoned his display on Saturday was the worst he'd ever seen from a reds player. So because we're poll crazy right now, I thought I'd see what the general consensus was. I'm a big fan of his, but I'm wrong about lots of things so wondered if I was in a minority who liked the lad.

He seems to have come out well in the poll though, as I reckon most of us appreciate the context. He's 19, local, our only option there and hasn't made glaring errors. If owt, he's getting stick for not doing what the winger ahead of him isn't doing - attacking, scoring, creating etc.

Yeah, not having a dig at you. I have criticised him too, but he's not the only player who has been poor. The fact that hes come out of the Poll ok is a good thing, I just didn't see how it would help him if he hadn't. That's presuming he, his friends or family do actually look on here

A young lad learning his trade making mistakes perhaps but that's what happens when you're learning. Needs our support and he'll get it from me.

I can only speak for one footballer's family, and they read the BBS every day when he played here. And now read forums at his current club. It's human nature I suppose.

I don't want to call him bad or good to me he's just average, does some stuff right, is poor at other things, but he's only 18 so he has time to develop, and go on to a bigger club like Holgate, Stones etc
