Once the 15 million or so vulnerable are sorted life needs to go back to normal with no more restrictions. The rest of us are of such little risk that it should be personal responsibility. If you don't want to go back to busy places like sporting events and concerts then leave it for those who do. To wait until healthy under 50s are offered a vaccine when less than 400 have passed away that way would be crazy.

Yea just ignore those unable to have the vaccine and those for whom it isn’t effective. I’m telling you it’s not gonna happen until enough of the general population have the vaccine that community transmission is basically non-existent. Anything else is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

The Pfizer is 90-95% effective, last I saw the Oxford was 75-95%. Then there’s the people who are unable to take the vaccine (anyone with serious allergies for example, or people who are seriously immunocompromised). Take that into account and you will realise that enough of the general population need the vaccine to negate that. It needs 70+% of the general population.

I have no idea how many people are unable to have it or it's not effective for as I haven't seen any media stories about it. I don't think enough of the general population will accept the vaccine to make it non existent. Once you've given it to the vulnerable and knowing healthy under 50s are pretty safe that would be high in the 90s percentage that wouldn't be likely to die or even need hospital treatment if they catch it. I can't at that point see the government keep our knackered economy being kept like that when the vast majority will be fine at that point. The important thing is those who can't have the vaccine or it doesn't work on them are looked after if they don't want to risk being out and about.

Looks like at the moment Rotherham want the game postponed but EFL insisting it goes ahead. Good chance for us if they have a vastly weakened side, but you have to feel a bit sorry for them..

Also if it does go ahead let’s hope that it’s safe for all our staff and squad

Get it played, we'll be on the fringe of the play offs.

Weakened team - they are a weak team at full strength.

And then half our squad catch it from them and we end up weakened and losing 3 or 4 matches.

The covid players are self isolating so shouldn't have been near the ground for days, the venues are also supposed to be covid secure, well as much as the can be. More chance of catching it in Morrisons

It's ON so surely it must be safe? You would think so!

Well if we are getting 30k+infections a day that should help a little as the real number is likely a lot higher.
