    as I know what it's like trying to use crutches after having knee operations.

    Does the takeaway mean that you still haven't figured out what that silver thing is in that room called the kitchen?

    Of course I know what it is

    It's the teapot, obviously. Apparently if someone adds some funny paper bags and pours boiling water into it then eventually it can be used to make a cup of tea, which can be then placed conveniently on the table by my bed each morning.
