Given that we never, ever score away from home 0-0 is nearly always the best result we can hope for. Sounds like another dreadful performance though. How many saves have opposition keepers made in the last 3 games? Another display like that against Norwich and Davey is surely gone.
Relief at the away point & clean sheet Three points next Saturday at home to Norwich City would go down a treat.
I think that's a slightly obscure view of it. It doesn't really matter who is managing us. I'm not 'happy' with one point against an equally awful team, I'm relieved we didn't drop 3 rather then 2 though.
Is it really that obscure? If the lynch mob put as much effort into supporting the team, it might be a better atmosphere for the lads to perform in.
yes, it really is that obscure. Everyone is using the word happy for some reason. Or is life that bad that 1 point away from Southampton is what makes people happy nowadays? It doesn't make me happy. That said, Davey is still **** and I'd be 'happy' to see him go, but I wouldn't sacrifice us getting stranded at the bottom in order to do so.
Spot on mate but... ... a tupenny ****? Right now I'd settle for a 'Brandy an Babycham and a pack of pork scratchings' ****. I thought they were OK today. Good steady first half and plenty of effort. Saints! - What a demise for a once good club. My mate was shacking his head all through the game and he only got 4 "Oh how the mighty have fallen" from me. HUme's miss was unforgivable......£1.2 Mill? spare me FFS.
