Is it me.......or are others finding this message board difficult

    I have discussed the facebook like button with gally and said it should be moved or removed. has it does take up way too much room,

    I left it there until someone complained about it.

    **** it, I suppose its better to remove it and see if members notice and decide they want it :)

    I'll disable it now

    Will you stop being so pig headed, If you spents as much time exploring the forum and trying the many options rather than just moaning because you can't handle change you may just get to like the forum.

    I presume you are using linear mode. CHANGE IT>

    if you look at the light grey bar above the threads you will see the words DISPLAY. click that and choose threaded mode.
    that is similar to the old board.

    The old board was slow and out dated, and I doubt there is any turning back now.

    Threaded mode for the main forumdisplay doesn't come as standard and gally has had a modification specially made for members who prefer threaded mode.

    Just give the forum ago, Some members prefer linear mode and this forum gives members the choice

    I seem to have lost a good friend and its been replaced with something thats over elloborate to say the least
    I need to click more than once to try and find the Title Bar and then have to scroll through the thread looking for it.
    I dont want to 'work' at finding things......I just want to throw my thoughts onto the screen
    The threaded posts merge into one another.......while the other type of viewing is worse than the TykesMad board
    The post icons cannot be used in the text
    Theres something called SETTINGS.....WHY ?.....on a simple message board
    The whole layout is unattractive
    Progress is when something is changed for the BETTER......I didn't complain the last time it was chsanged because we got a better message board on that occasion
    The message board has been changed because of a few complaints.........well I've heard shed loads of complaints about this change
    ................I could go on.......but

    You've heard "shedloads of complaints about this board", I think most of them are in your head becaus e most people seem to have got on with it.

    The bottom line is that this site is run by some volunteers out of their own pocket, so if it makes more financial sense to run this site (the last one was creaking at the seems and unusable) then that is their decision. If you like the other format so well then you are free to set up your own website.

    For someone who says they have so much trouble ith the site you seem to be able to post up ok!

    I don't understand why a few people are constantly moaning just because the new site is different. It took me a couple of minutes to go through all the configuration/settings options and get the site looking how I want it - most of them were self explanatory or gave pointers. Now I can just login and browse. Just take the time to get it set up how you want instead of moaning.

    I use 'Linear' mode as I did on the old site and it works much better here. It actually looks like a modern forum now and the features and layout are on a par with what you'd expect from similar sites in 2011. Anyway, great job by Gally and co in creating a much better site and for FREE. The majority of users appreciate the time and effort you've put into this. Hopefully the site will go from strength to strength now.

    Because of those few complaints we are left with this daft site........ but we haven't shifted the fooking ***** off it such as ...........SUPER....fooking...TRIPE

    I have to say, I'm not sold on it

    I find it confusing, raggy, and not a pleasant experience.

    I know you do your best Gally, and that you do it for free. But this is just not the same place. Can't we have the old format back?
