It's only snow

It's hyped up to be the end of the world and the whole country stops(apart from the strong characters amongst us), it's flipping stupid.

I bet most people out there haven't even tried driving in the snow, it's piss easy.

Biggest problem for me this morning was worrying about what all the other drivers were going to do. I can control my car (just) but it scared the crap out of me when someone came in the other direction.

I parked for 45 minutes and the car wouldn't budge in reverse when I went back to it. Needed to do a bit of rocking to get it moving again.

Quite amusing watching the massive snowball fight in the street at the moment though. Its ages since I've seen snow like this over here.

Worst I have seen it in Watford and London

But surprisingly most trains are running and got to work on time, worse luck.

So why was it that the sprinkling we had 2 weeks ago led tome being delayed on the train for an hour and then having to walk3 miles to the officebecause the tube was down?

Just goes to show, if there's enough warning they can keep trains running in most cases.

Just been back to the car and am now unable to get off the driveway (which is on a slight downslope). Moving back 12 inches resulted in a 2 foot slide to the left toward the next door neighbours new car. Even after digging away most of the snow I can't get enough traction to get over the slope before hitting it.

Bloke across the road watched me, slightly amused, before jumping into his Mitsubishi Warrior 4x4 and calmly driving out of the street!

    Can guarantee

Any snow on our street, which is on a hill, and there will be some idiots who insist on driving up it rather than down (and it's easy enough to come in at the top rather than bottom.)
