The other point that was made by Patrick Cryne on the radio is that the players are fully behind the manager. We have got the makings of a decent team, what would happen if we bring in another manager? It's a tough decision.
Talk is cheap. Regardless of what anyone says, the performances we've seen this season are evidently not coming from a squad that is behind the manager. They're either too confused to do what he's asking of them or they're deliberately ignoring what he's saying, neither of which looks good from a management perspective. Both the Swansea and Coventry games were followed by talk of the players not doing what the manager was asking of them. This was the last thing I wanted to hear when we were knee deep in the middle of a relegation scrap.
andy.. you say how can a leopeard change its spots, dunt know but everyone can learn by experience and lots of people do learn and after reading whats come out its seems simon has learnt from us the supporters, think back to me in the petron station yelling to him "we want steele" well we got him. im not saying im the saviour of the reds but i did my bit, now do yours and get behind simon like slawit red is doing. give the man another chance. onwards and upwards "stronger together" un all that. see thee later.. oh un well done to georgine and alex on getting there belts at tyquando or summat.
