    The Covenant on Oakwell has nothing to do with PC..

    IIRC, it dates back to when the land was gifted to the club in the early days and only lasts as long as a certain level of descendant of the original land owners are alive. It can't have that long to run...

    I'm sure Patrick is quoted somewhere as saying he finished lengthy negotiations with one party because they wanted to raise money using the land as collateral if I'm not mistaken so it must have been included in the sale in some form or another,unless I've misheard.
